Psalm 137 is recited before Birkas Hamazon on weekdays in memory of the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash:

By the rivers
of Babylon, עַל נַהֲרוֹת בָּבֶל there
we sat שָׁם יָשַׁבְנוּ and we
also wept, גַּם בָּכִינוּ when we
remembered Zion. בְּזָכְרֵנוּ אֶת צִיּוֹן Upon the willows
in its midst, עַל עֲרָבִים בְּתוֹכָהּ we hung
our harps. תָּלִינוּ כִּנֹּרוֹתֵינוּ For there our
captors demanded כִּי שָׁם שְׁאֵלוּנוּ שׁוֹבֵינוּ of us words
of song, דִּבְרֵי שִׁיר and our tormentors
asked of us [with] mirth; וְתוֹלָלֵינוּ שִׂמְחָה Sing
to us שִׁירוּ לָנוּ from the
song[s] of Zion. מִשִּׁיר צִיּוֹן How shall
we sing אֵיךְ נָשִׁיר the song
of Adonoy אֶת שִׁיר יְהֹוָה on alien
soil? עַל אַדְמַת נֵכָר If I ever forget
you, Jerusalem, אִם אֶשְׁכָּחֵךְ יְרוּשָׁלָםִ may my right hand
forget [its movement]. תִּשְׁכַּח יְמִינִי May my tongue
cleave to my palate, תִּדְבַּק לְשׁוֹנִי לְחִכִּי if I remember
you not; אִם לֹא אֶזְכְּרֵכִי if I set
not Jerusalem אִם לֹא אַעֲלֶה אֶת יְרוּשָׁלַםִ above my
highest joy. עַל רֹאשׁ שִׂמְחָתִי Remember,
Adonoy, זְכֹר יְהֹוָה to the sons
of Edom לִבְנֵי אֱדוֹם the day of
Jerusalem, אֵת יוֹם יְרוּשָׁלָםִ [it was they]
who said, הָאֹמְרִים Raze it,
raze it עָרוּ עָרוּ to its very
foundation. עַד הַיְסוֹד בָּהּ Daughter
of Babylon, בַּת בָּבֶל you are the
annihilated one; הַשְּׁדוּדָה fortunate is he
who will repay you אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁיְּשַׁלֶּם לָךְ for all you
have done to us. אֶת גְּמוּלֵךְ שֶׁגָּמַלְתְּ לָנוּ Fortunate is he
who will take אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁיֹּאחֵז and dash your
little ones וְנִפֵּץ אֶת עֹלָלַיִךְ against
the rock. אֶל הַסָּלַע

Psalm 126 is recited on Shabbos, Yom Tov and other festive occasions such as weddings, circumcisions or redemption of the first born.

A Song of
Ascents. שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת When Adonoy
brings about בְּשׁוּב יְהֹוָה the return
to Zion אֶת שִׁיבַת צִיּוֹן we will have been
like dreamers. הָיִינוּ כְּחֹלְמִים Then will our mouths
be filled with laughter, אָז יִמָּלֵא שְׂחוֹק פִּינוּ and our tongue
with joyous song. וּלְשׁוֹנֵנוּ רִנָּה Then will they say
among the nations: אָז יֹאמְרוּ בַגּוֹיִם ‘Adonoy has done
great things הִגְדִּיל יְהֹוָה לַעֲשׂוֹת for
them.’ עִם אֵלֶּה Adonoy had done
great things for us; הִגְדִּיל יְהֹוָה לַעֲשׂוֹת עִמָּנוּ we will [then]
rejoice. הָיִינוּ שְׂמֵחִים Adonoy! bring
back our exiles שׁוּבָה יְהֹוָה אֶת שְׁבִיתֵנוּ like springs
in the desert. כַּאֲפִיקִים בַּנֶּגֶב Those who
sow in tears הַזֹּרְעִים בְּדִמְעָה will reap with
joyous song. בְּרִנָּה יִקְצֹרוּ [Though] he walks
along weeping, הָלוֹךְ יֵלֵךְ וּבָכֹה carrying the
bag of seed, נֹשֵׂא מֶשֶׁךְ הַזָּרַע he will return
with joyous song בֹּא יָבֹא בְרִנָּה carrying
his sheaves. נֹשֵׂא אֲלֻמֹּתָיו

When three or more males, aged 13 or older eat together one of them leads the group in reciting the Birkas Hamazon.

The leader begins by saying:

“Gentlemen, רַבּוֹתַי let us say
the blessing: נְבָרֵךְ

The others respond:

The Name
of Adonoy יְהִי שֵׁם יְהֹוָה will be
blessed מְבֹרָךְ from now
forever. מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם

The leader repeats:

“The Name
of Adonoy יְהִי שֵׁם יְהֹוָה will be
blessed מְבֹרָךְ from now
forever.” מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם

The leader continues: (the words “our God” are substituted for “Him” and “He” if ten males are in the group):

“With your
permission בִּרְשׁוּת our masters
and teachers, מָרָנָן וְרַבָּנָן וְרַבּוֹתַי Let us bless
(our God,) Him, נְבָרֵךְ אֱלֹהֵינוּ for we
have eaten שֶׁאָכַלְנוּ of His
bounty.” מִשֶּׁלּוֹ

The others respond accordingly:

Blessed is
(our God) He בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהֵינוּ for we have eaten
of His bounty שֶׁאָכַלְנוּ מִשֶּׁלּוֹ and through His
goodness we live. וּבְטוּבוֹ חָיִינוּ

One who did not eat, responds:

Blessed is
(our God) He, בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהֵינוּ and
His Name וּמְבוֹרָךְ שְׁמוֹ
constantly, תָּמִיד forever
and ever. לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

The leader repeats:

“Blessed is
(our God) He בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהֵינוּ for we have eaten
of His bounty שֶׁאָכַלְנוּ מִשֶּׁלּוֹ and through His
goodness we live.” וּבְטוּבוֹ חָיִינוּ

Blessed
is He בָּרוּךְ הוּא and blessed
is His Name. וּבָרוּךְ שְׁמוֹ Some add:

FIRST BERACHA

Blessed
are You, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה Adonoy
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ King of the
Universe, מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם Who nourishes
the entire world הַזָּן אֶת הָעוֹלָם כֻּלּוֹ with His
goodness, בְּטוּבוֹ with favor,
with kindness, בְּחֵן בְּחֶסֶד and with
mercy. וּבְרַחֲמִים He provides
food הוּא נוֹתֵן לֶחֶם for all
flesh, לְכָל בָּשָׂר for His kindness
endures forever. כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ And through His
great goodness, וּבְטוּבוֹ הַגָּדוֹל we have never
lacked and תָּמִיד לֹא חָסַר לָנוּ we will not
lack food וְאַל יֶחְסַר לָנוּ מָזוֹן forever
and ever, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד for the sake of
His great Name. בַּעֲבוּר שְׁמוֹ הַגָּדוֹל For He is
Almighty כִּי הוּא אֵל Who nourishes
and maintains all, זָן וּמְפַרְנֵס לַכֹּל does good
to all, וּמֵטִיב לַכֹּל and prepares
nourishment וּמֵכִין מָזוֹן for all His
creatures לְכָל בְּרִיּוֹתָיו which He
has created. אֲשֶׁר בָּרָא Blessed are
You, Adonoy בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה Who
nourishes all. הַזָּן אֶת הַכֹּל

SECOND BERACHA

We thank
You, נוֹדֶה לְּךָ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ for Your parceling
out as a heritage עַל שֶׁהִנְחַלְתָּ to our
fathers, לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ a land which
is desirable, אֶרֶץ חֶמְדָּה good, and
spacious; טוֹבָה וּרְחָבָה for Your
bringing us out, וְעַל שֶׁהוֹצֵאתָנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ from the land
of Egypt, מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם and
redeeming us וּפְדִיתָנוּ from the house
of bondage; מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים for Your
covenant וְעַל בְּרִיתְךָ which You sealed
in our flesh; שֶׁחָתַמְתָּ בִּבְשָׂרֵנוּ for Your
Torah וְעַל תּוֹרָתְךָ which You
taught us; שֶׁלִּמַּדְתָּנוּ for Your
statutes וְעַל חֻקֶּיךָ which You made
known to us; שֶׁהוֹדַעְתָּנוּ for the
life, וְעַל חַיִּים favor, and
kindness חֵן וָחֶסֶד which You
granted us; שֶׁחוֹנַנְתָּנוּ and for the
provision of food וְעַל אֲכִילַת מָזוֹן with which
You nourish שָׁאַתָּה זָן and maintain
us constantly, וּמְפַרְנֵס אוֹתָנוּ תָּמִיד every day,
at all times בְּכָל יוֹם וּבְכָל עֵת and in
every hour. וּבְכָל שָׁעָה

On regular weekdays, continue, “For everything”. On Chanukah and Purim add עַל הַנִּסִּים. If you forgot to say עַל הַנִּסִּים, you may include it when you reach הָרַחֲמָן by saying: הָרַחֲמָן הוּא יַעֲשֶׂה־לָּנוּ נִסִים וְנִפְלָאוֹת כְּמוֹ שֶׁעָשָׂה לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה. and then continue on Chanukah with: בִּימֵי מַתִּתְיָהוּ, and on Purim with: בִּימֵי מָרְדְּכַי וְאֶסְתֵּר. If you reminded yourself before concluding the second blessing עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל הַמָּזוֹן, you may repeat it at that time and continue with the Birkas Hamazon.

[We thank You]
for the miracles וְעַל הַנִּסִּים for the
redemption, וְעַל הַפֻּרְקָן for the
mighty deeds, וְעַל הַגְּבוּרוֹת for the
deliverances, וְעַל הַתְּשׁוּעוֹת and for
the wars וְעַל הַמִּלְחָמוֹת that You
performed שֶׁעָשִׂיתָ for our
fathers לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ in those
days בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם at this
season. בִּזְּמַן הַזֶּה

On Chanukah:

In the days
of Matisyahu, בִּימֵי מַתִּתְיָהוּ son of Yochanan
the High Priest, בֶּן יוֹחָנָן כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל the Hasmonean
and his sons, חַשְׁמוֹנַאי וּבָנָיו when the evil
Greek kingdom rose up כְּשֶׁעָמְדָה מַלְכוּת יָוָן הָרְשָׁעָה against Your
people Israel עַל עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל to make them
forget Your Torah לְהַשְׁכִּיחָם תּוֹרָתֶךָ and to turn
them away וּלְהַעֲבִירָם from the statutes
of Your will— מֵחֻקֵּי רְצוֹנֶךָ You, in Your
abundant mercy, וְאַתָּה בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים stood
by them עָמַדְתָּ לָהֶם in their time
of distress, בְּעֵת צָרָתָם You defended
their cause, רַבְתָּ אֶת רִיבָם You judged
their grievances, דַּנְתָּ אֶת דִּינָם You avenged
them. נָקַמְתָּ אֶת נִקְמָתָם You delivered
the mighty מָסַרְתָּ גִבּוֹרִים into the hands
of the weak, בְּיַד חַלָּשִׁים many into the
hands of the few, וְרַבִּים בְּיַד מְעַטִּים defiled
people וּטְמֵאִים into the hands
of the undefiled, בְּיַד טְהוֹרִים the wicked into the
hands of the righteous, וּרְשָׁעִים בְּיַד צַדִּיקִים and insolent [sinners]
into the hands of וְזֵדִים בְּיַד diligent students
of Your Torah. עוֹסְקֵי תוֹרָתֶךָ And You made
Yourself וּלְךָ עָשִׂיתָ a great and sanctified
name in Your world. שֵׁם גָּדוֹל וְקָדוֹשׁ בְּעוֹלָמֶךָ And for Your
people, Israel, וּלְעַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל You performed a
great deliverance עָשִׂיתָ תְּשׁוּעָה גְדוֹלָה and redemption
unto this very day. וּפֻרְקָן כְּהַיּוֹם הַזֶּה Afterwards, Your
sons entered וְאַחַר כַּךְ בָּאוּ בָנֶיךָ the Holy of Holies
of Your Abode, לִדְבִיר בֵּיתֶךָ cleaned
Your Temple, וּפִנּוּ אֶת הֵיכָלֶךָ purified Your
Sanctuary, וְטִהֲרוּ אֶת מִקְדָּשֶׁךָ and kindled
lights וְהִדְלִיקוּ נֵרוֹת in the Courtyards
of Your Sanctuary, בְּחַצְרוֹת קָדְשֶׁךָ and designated these
eight days of Chanukah וְקָבְעוּ שְׁמוֹנַת יְמֵי חֲנֻכָּה אֵלּוּ to thank
and praise לְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל Your
great Name. לְשִׁמְךָ הַגָּדוֹל

On Purim:

In the days of
Mordechai and Esther בִּימֵי מָרְדְּכַי וְאֶסְתֵּר in Shushan the
Capital [of Persia], בְּשׁוּשַׁן הַבִּירָה when the evil Haman
rose up against them, כְּשֶׁעָמַד עֲלֵיהֶם הָמָן הָרָשָׁע he sought to
destroy, to kill, בִּקֵּשׁ לְהַשְׁמִיד לַהֲרוֹג and to annihilate
all the Jews, וּלְאַבֵּד אֶת כָּל הַיְּהוּדִים young
and old, מִנַּעַר וְעַד זָקֵן infants
and women, טַף וְנָשִׁים in one
day, בְּיוֹם אֶחָד the
thirteenth day בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁה עָשָׂר of the
twelfth month, לְחֹדֶשׁ שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר which is the
month of Adar, הוּא חֹדֶשׁ אֲדָר and to plunder
their wealth וּשְׁלָלָם לָבוֹז And You, in Your
abundant mercy, וְאַתָּה בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים annulled
his counsel, הֵפַרְתָּ אֶת עֲצָתוֹ frustrated
his intention, וְקִלְקַלְתָּ אֶת מַחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ and brought his evil
plan upon his own head, וַהֲשֵׁבוֹתָ לּוֹ גְּמוּלוֹ בְּרֹאשׁוֹ and they
hanged him וְתָלוּ אוֹתוֹ and
his sons וְאֶת בָּנָיו upon the
gallows. עַל הָעֵץ

For
everything וְעַל הַכֹּל Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ We
thank You אֲנַחְנוּ מוֹדִים לָךְ and
bless You. וּמְבָרְכִים אוֹתָךְ Blessed be
Your Name יִתְבָּרַךְ שִׁמְךָ through the mouth
of all the living, בְּפִי כָּל חַי constantly,
forever, תָּמִיד לְעוֹלָם as it is
written: וָעֶד כַּכָּתוּב When You
have eaten וְאָכַלְתָּ and are
satisfied, וְשָׂבָעְתָּ You will
bless Adonoy, וּבֵרַכְתָּ אֶת יְהֹוָה your
God, אֱלֹהֶיךָ for the
good land עַל הָאָרֶץ הַטּוֹבָה which He has
given to you. אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָךְ Blessed are
You, Adonoy, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהֹוָה for
the land עַל הָאָרֶץ and for
the food. וְעַל הַמָּזוֹן

THIRD BERACHA

Have
compassion, רַחֵם Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ on Israel,
Your people, עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ on Jerusalem,
Your city, וְעַל יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִירֶךָ on
Zion, וְעַל צִיּוֹן the dwelling
place of Your glory, מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶךָ on the
kingship of וְעַל מַלְכוּת the house
of David, בֵּית דָּוִד Your
anointed; מְשִׁיחֶךָ and on the great
and holy House וְעַל הַבַּיִת הַגָּדוֹל וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ upon which Your
Name is called. שֶׁנִּקְרָא שִׁמְךָ עָלָיו Our God,
our Father אֱלֹהֵינוּ אָבִינוּ tend us,
nourish us, רְעֵנוּ זוּנֵנוּ maintain us,
sustain us, relieve us פַּרְנְסֵנוּ וְכַלְכְּלֵנוּ וְהַרְוִיחֵנוּ and grant
us relief וְהַרְוַח לָנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ
speedily מְהֵרָה from all
our troubles. מִכָּל צָרוֹתֵינוּ Adonoy, our God—may
we never be in need וְנָא אַל תַּצְרִיכֵנוּ יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ of the
gifts of men לֹא לִידֵי מַתְּנַת בָּשָׂר וָדָם nor of
their loans, וְלֹא לִידֵי הַלְוָאָתָם but only of
Your hand כִּי אִם לְיָדְךָ which is
full, open, הַמְּלֵאָה הַפְּתוּחָה holy and
generous, הַקְּדוֹשָׁה וְהָרְחָבָה so that we may
not be shamed שֶׁלֹּא נֵבוֹשׁ nor
humiliated וְלֹא נִכָּלֵם forever
and ever. לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

On regular weekdays, continue, “Rebuild”. On Shabbos add:

May it please You,
to strengthen us רְצֵה וְהַחֲלִיצֵנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ through Your
commandments, בְּמִצְוֹתֶיךָ and through
the commandment וּבְמִצְוַת of the
seventh day, יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי this great and
holy Sabbath. הַשַּׁבָּת הַגָּדוֹל וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ הַזֶּה For
this day כִּי יוֹם זֶה is great and
holy before You, גָדוֹל וְקָדוֹשׁ הוּא לְפָנֶיךָ to refrain
from work on it לִשְׁבָּת בּוֹ and to rest on
it with love, וְלָנוּחַ בּוֹ בְּאַהֲבָה as ordained
by Your will. כְּמִצְוַת רְצוֹנֶךָ And by
Your will, וּבִרְצוֹנְךָ grant us
repose הָנִיחַ לָנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ that there be no
distress, sorrow, שֶׁלֹּא תְהֵא צָרָה וְיָגוֹן or sighing on the
day of our rest. וַאֲנָחָה בְּיוֹם מְנוּחָתֵנוּ Show
us וְהַרְאֵנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ the consolation
of Zion, בְּנֶחָמַת צִיּוֹן Your
city, עִירֶךָ and the rebuilding
of Jerusalem, וּבְבִנְיַן יְרוּשָׁלַיִם city of Your
Sanctuary, עִיר קָדְשֶׁךָ for You are the
Master of deliverance כִּי אַתָּה הוּא בַּעַל הַיְשׁוּעוֹת and the Master
of consolation. וּבַעַל הַנֶּחָמוֹת

On Rosh Chodesh and Yom Tov add:

Our God and God
of our fathers, אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ may there
ascend, יַעֲלֶה come,
and reach, וְיָבֹא וְיַגִּיעַ appear, be
desired, and heard, וְיֵרָאֶה וְיֵרָצֶה וְיִשָּׁמַע counted
and recalled וְיִפָּקֵד וְיִזָּכֵר our remembrance
and reckoning; זִכְרוֹנֵנוּ וּפִקְדוֹנֵנוּ the remembrance
of our fathers; וְזִכְרוֹן אֲבוֹתֵינוּ the remembrance
of the Messiah וְזִכְרוֹן מָשִׁיחַ the son of David,

Israel, before You בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל לְפָנֶיךָ for survival,
for well-being, לִפְלֵיטָה לְטוֹבָה for favor,
kindliness, compassion, לְחֵן וּלְחֶסֶד וּלְרַחֲמִים for life
and peace לְחַיִּים וּלְשָׁלוֹם on this
day of: בְּיוֹם

Remember
us זָכְרֵנוּ Adonoy,
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ on this day
for well-being; בּוֹ לְטוֹבָה be mindful of us on
this day for blessing, וּפָקְדֵנוּ בוֹ לִבְרָכָה and deliver
us for life. וְהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ בוֹ לְחַיִּים In accord with the
promise of deliverance וּבִדְבַר יְשׁוּעָה and
compassion, וְרַחֲמִים spare us
and favor us, חוּס וְחָנֵּנוּ have compassion
on us וְרַחֵם עָלֵינוּ and
deliver us; וְהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ for to You our
eyes are directed כִּי אֵלֶיךָ עֵינֵינוּ because You
are the Almighty כִּי אֵל Who is
King, מֶלֶךְ Gracious,
and Merciful. חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם אָתָּה

If you forgot to say רְצֵה or יַעֲלֶה וְיָבֹא and became aware of it before starting the fourth blessing (הַטּוֹב וְהַמֵּטִיב), or even if you are in doubt, see below for the appropriate blessing. If you reminded yourself after you had already begun the fourth blessing and have said: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', then you must repeat the entire Birkas Hamazon. These laws apply only to Shabbos, and the Festival days of Pesach, Shavuos and Sukkos. On Chol Ha-Moed or on Rosh Chodesh days that do not fall on Shabbos, you need not repeat the Birkas Hamazon even though you began the blessing of הַטּוֹב וְהַמֵּטִיב.

Rebuild
Jerusalem, וּבְנֵה יְרוּשָׁלַיִם city of the
Holy Sanctuary, עִיר הַקֹּדֶשׁ
speedily, בִּמְהֵרָה in our
days. בְיָמֵינוּ Blessed are

FOURTH BERACHA

Blessed
are You, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה Adonoy
our God, יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ King of the
Universe, מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם the Almighty,
our Father, הָאֵל אָבִינוּ our
King, מַלְכֵּנוּ our Mighty

good הַטּוֹב and beneficent
to all. וְהַמֵּטִיב לַכֹּל Every
single day שֶׁבְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם He has
done good, הוּא הֵטִיב does
good, הוּא מֵטִיב and will do
good to us. הוּא יֵיטִיב לָנוּ He has
rewarded us, הוּא גְמָלָנוּ He
rewards us, הוּא גוֹמְלֵנוּ He will reward
us forever הוּא יִגְמְלֵנוּ לָעַד with favor,
kindness, לְחֵן וּלְחֶסֶד and
compassion, וּלְרַחֲמִים
relief, וּלְרֶוַח
rescue, הַצָּלָה and
success, וְהַצְלָחָה
blessing, בְּרָכָה
deliverance, וִישׁוּעָה and
consolation, נֶחָמָה
maintenance, פַּרְנָסָה
sustenance, וְכַלְכָּלָה
compassion, וְרַחֲמִים
life, וְחַיִּים
peace, וְשָׁלוֹם and everything
good; וְכָל טוֹב and of all
good things וּמִכָּל טוּב may He never
deprive us. לְעוֹלָם אַל יְחַסְּרֵנוּ

The
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן will reign
over us הוּא יִמְלוֹךְ עָלֵינוּ forever
and ever. לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

The
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן will be
blessed הוּא יִתְבָּרַךְ in heaven
and on earth. בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ

The
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן will be
praised הוּא יִשְׁתַּבַּח for all
generations, לְדוֹר דּוֹרִים He will be
glorified through us וְיִתְפָּאַר בָּנוּ forever and for
all eternity; לָעַד וּלְנֵצַח נְצָחִים and He will be
honored through us וְיִתְהַדַּר בָּנוּ for time
everlasting. לָעַד וּלְעוֹלְמֵי עוֹלָמִים

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן maintain
us הוּא יְפַרְנְסֵנוּ with
honor. בְּכָבוֹד

The
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן will break
the yoke הוּא יִשְׁבּוֹר עֻלֵּנוּ (of oppression)
from our necks מֵעַל צַוָּארֵנוּ and lead
us upright וְהוּא יוֹלִיכֵנוּ קוֹמְמִיּוּת to our
land. לְאַרְצֵנוּ

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן send us abundant
blessing הוּא יִשְׁלַח לָנוּ בְּרָכָה to this
house, מְרֻבָּה בַּבַּיִת הַזֶּה and upon
this table וְעַל שֻׁלְחָן זֶה at which we
have eaten. שֶׁאָכַלְנוּ עָלָיו

The
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן will
send us הוּא יִשְׁלַח לָנוּ Elijah the
prophet, אֶת אֵלִיָּהוּ הַנָּבִיא who is remembered
for good, זָכוּר לַטּוֹב who will
announce to us וִיבַשֶּׂר לָנוּ good
tidings, בְּשׂוֹרוֹת טוֹבוֹת
deliverances, יְשׁוּעוֹת and
consolations. וְנֶחָמוֹת

When eating at your parents’ table, say:

May the Merciful
One bless הָרַחֲמָן הוּא יְבָרֵךְ my father,
my teacher, אֶת אָבִי מוֹרִי the master of
this house, בַּעַל הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה and my mother,
my teacher, וְאֶת אִמִּי מוֹרָתִי the mistress
of this house; בַּעֲלַת הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה them, their
household, אוֹתָם וְאֶת בֵּיתָם their
children וְאֶת זַרְעָם and all that
is theirs. וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם

When eating at your own table, say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן bless
me, הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אוֹתִי my spouse,
my children, וְאֶת אִשְׁתִּי/בַּעֲלִי וְאֶת זַרְעִי and all that
is mine; וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לִי

Ours and all
that is ours— אוֹתָנוּ וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לָנוּ just as our
forefathers were blessed— כְּמוֹ שֶׁנִּתְבָּרְכוּ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob— אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב In all things, “From everything,”
and “With everything”; בַּכֹּל מִכֹּל כֹּל so may He
bless us, כֵּן יְבָרֵךְ אוֹתָנוּ all of us
together, כֻּלָּנוּ יַחַד with a perfect
blessing בִּבְרָכָה שְׁלֵמָה and let us
say Amein. וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן

A guest says:

May it be
God’s will יְהִי רָצוֹן that he should
not be shamed שֶׁלֹּא יֵבוֹשׁ and not
humiliated וְלֹא יִכָּלֵם this
host בַּעַל הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה not in
this World לֹא בָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה nor in the
World to Come. וְלֹא בָעוֹלָם הַבָּא And he will
be successful וְיַצְלִיחַ with all his
possessions. בְּכָל נְכָסָיו May his
properties prosper וְיִהְיוּ נְכָסָיו מוּצְלָחִים and be located
close to town. וּקְרוֹבִים לָעִיר May no evil force
have power over וְאַל יִשְׁלוֹט שָׂטָן his
endeavors. בְּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו May no opportunity
present itself before him וְאַל יִזְדָקֵּק לְפָנָיו any matter
of sin, שׁוּם דְּבַר חֵטְא nor thought
of iniquity וְהַרְהוֹר עָוֹן from now
forever. מַעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם

From on
high, בַּמָּרוֹם may there be
invoked upon them יְלַמְּדוּ עֲלֵיהֶם and
upon us, וְעָלֵינוּ [the] merit to
insure peace, זְכוּת שֶׁתְּהֵא לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת שָׁלוֹם And may we
receive a blessing וְנִשָּׂא בְרָכָה from
Adonoy, מֵאֵת יְהֹוָה and kindness from the
God of our deliverance; וּצְדָקָה מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ and may we
find favor וְנִמְצָא חֵן and
understanding וְשֵׂכֶל טוֹב in the
eyes of God בְּעֵינֵי and

On Shabbos say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן let us
inherit הוּא יַנְחִילֵנוּ the day which will
be completely Shabbos יוֹם שֶׁכֻּלּוֹ שַׁבָּת and
rest, וּמְנוּחָה for life
everlasting. לְחַיֵּי הָעוֹלָמִים

On Rosh Chodesh say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן renew
for us הוּא יְחַדֵּשׁ עָלֵינוּ this
month אֶת הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה for good and
for blessing. לְטוֹבָה וְלִבְרָכָה

On Yom Tov say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן let us inherit
that day הוּא יַנְחִילֵנוּ יוֹם which is
completely good. שֶׁכֻּלּוֹ טוֹב

On Rosh Hashono say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן renew
for us הוּא יְחַדֵּשׁ עָלֵינוּ this
year אֶת הַשָּׁנָה הַזֹּאת for
good לְטוֹבָה and for
blessing. וְלִבְרָכָה

On Sukkos say:

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן raise up
for us הוּא יָקִים לָנוּ the fallen
Tabernacle of David. אֶת סֻכַּת דָּוִד הַנּוֹפָלֶת

May the
Merciful One הָרַחֲמָן make us
worthy הוּא יְזַכֵּנוּ of the days
of the Messiah לִימוֹת הַמָּשִׁיחַ and life of the
World to Come. וּלְחַיֵּי הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא He who gives great
deliverance to His king, מַגְדִּיל יְשׁוּעוֹת מַלְכּוֹ (On Shabbos
and Yom Tov say: בשבת וביו"ט אומר He who is a tower of
deliverance to His king,) מִגְדּוֹל יְשׁוּעוֹת מַלְכּוֹ and shows kindness
to His anointed— וְעֹשֶׂה חֶסֶד לִמְשִׁיחוֹ to David and
his descendants לְדָוִד וּלְזַרְעוֹ
forever. עַד עוֹלָם He Who makes peace
in His high heavens עֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם בִּמְרוֹמָיו may He make
peace for us הוּא יַעֲשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם עָלֵינוּ and for
all Israel, וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל and say,
Amein. וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן

Fear
Adonoy, יְראוּ אֶת יְהֹוָה [you] His
holy ones, קְדוֹשָׁיו for those who fear Him
suffer no deprivation. כִּי אֵין מַחְסוֹר לִירֵאָיו Young lions may
feel want and hunger, כְּפִירִים רָשׁוּ וְרָעֵבוּ but those who
seek Adonoy, וְדוֹרְשֵׁי יְהֹוָה will not be deprived
of any good thing. לֹא יַחְסְרוּ כָל טוֹב Give thanks
to Adonoy, הוֹדוּ לַיהוָֹה for He
is good, כִּי טוֹב for His kindness
endures forever. כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ You open
Your hand פּוֹתֵחַ אֶת יָדֶךָ and satisfy the desire
of every living being. וּמַשְׂבִּיעַ לְכָל חַי רָצוֹן Blessed is
the man who בָּרוּךְ הַגֶּבֶר אֲשֶׁר trusts in
Adonoy, יִבְטַח בַּיהוָֹה so that Adonoy
is his security. וְהָיָה יְהֹוָה מִבְטַחוֹ I was
young נַעַר הָיִיתִי and I have
grown old, גַם זָקַנְתִּי yet I have
never seen וְלֹא רָאִיתִי a righteous
man forsaken, צַדִּיק נֶעֱזָב nor his children
begging for bread. וְזַרְעוֹ מְבַקֶּשׁ לָחֶם Adonoy will give
strength to His people, יְהֹוָה עוֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן Adonoy
will bless יְהֹוָה יְבָרֵךְ His people
with peace. אֶת עַמּוֹ בַּשָּׁלוֹם

If you forgot to say רְצֵה on Shabbos recite this before the 4th Bracha:
