songשִׁ֗יר of
ascentsלַמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת I shall
liftאֶשָּׂ֣א my
eyesעֵ֭ינַי to the
mountainsאֶל־הֶהָרִ֑ים
Whenceמֵ֝אַ֗יִן shall my
help come?יָבֹ֥א עֶזְרִי׃ My
helpעֶ֭זְרִי is
fromמֵעִ֣ם the
L rdיְהֹוָ֑ה maker
ofעֹ֝שֵׂ֗ה
heavenשָׁמַ֥יִם and
earthוָאָרֶץ׃ He will
not letאַל־יִתֵּ֣ן your
footלַמּ֣וֹט
slipרַגְלֶ֑ךָ Your
Keeperאַל־יָ֝נ֗וּם will
not sleepשֹׁמְרֶךָ׃
Beholdהִנֵּ֣ה He will
not slumberלֹא־יָ֭נוּם
andוְלֹ֣א He will
not sleepיִישָׁ֑ן the
Keeperשׁ֝וֹמֵ֗ר of
Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ The
L rdיְהֹוָ֥ה is your
Keeperשֹׁמְרֶ֑ךָ The
L rdיְהֹוָ֥ה is your
shadeצִ֝לְּךָ֗ on
yourעַל־יַ֥ד right
handיְמִינֶךָ׃ The
sunיוֹמָ֗ם will not
smite youהַשֶּׁ֥מֶשׁ by
dayלֹא־יַכֶּ֗כָּה nor
the moonוְיָרֵ֥חַ at
nightבַּלָּיְלָה׃ The
L rdיְהֹוָ֗ה will
keep youיִשְׁמׇרְךָ֥ from
all evilמִכׇּל־רָ֑ע He will
keepיִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר your
soulאֶת־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃ The
L rdיְהֹוָ֗ה will guard
your going outיִשְׁמׇר־צֵאתְךָ֥ and your
coming inוּבוֹאֶ֑ךָ from
nowמֵ֝עַתָּ֗ה and
forevermoreוְעַד־עוֹלָם׃

depthsמִמַּעֲמַקִּ֖ים have I
called Youקְרָאתִ֣יךָ O
L rdיְהֹוָה׃ O
L rdאֲדֹנָי֮
hearשִׁמְעָ֢ה my
voiceבְק֫וֹלִ֥י
Letתִּהְיֶ֣ינָה Your
earsאׇ֭זְנֶיךָ
hearkenקַשֻּׁב֑וֹת to the
voiceלְ֝ק֗וֹל of my
supplicationsתַּחֲנוּנָי׃ If
transgressionsאִם־עֲוֺנ֥וֹת You heed,
O L rdתִּשְׁמׇר־יָ֑הּ O
L rdאֲ֝דֹנָ֗י
whoמִ֣י shall
standיַעֲמֹד׃ For
with Youכִּי־עִמְּךָ֥ is
forgivenessהַסְּלִיחָ֑ה so
thatלְ֝מַ֗עַן You be
fearedתִּוָּרֵא׃ I have
hopedקִוִּ֣יתִי in the
L rdיְ֭הֹוָה has
hopedקִוְּתָ֣ה my
soulנַפְשִׁ֑י And to
His wordוְלִדְבָר֥וֹ have I
aspiredהוֹחָלְתִּי׃ My
soulנַפְשִׁ֥י [has yearned]
for the L rdלַאדֹנָ֑י of the
watchersמִשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים for the
morningלַ֝בֹּ֗קֶר of the
[continual]שֹׁמְרִ֥ים watchers for
the morningלַבֹּקֶר׃
Hopeיַחֵ֥ל O
Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל in the
L rdאֶל־יְ֫הֹוָ֥ה For with
the L rdכִּי־עִם־יְהֹוָ֥ה is
lovingkindnessהַחֶ֑סֶד and there
is muchוְהַרְבֵּ֖ה with
Himעִמּ֣וֹ
redemptionפְדוּת׃ And
Heוְ֭הוּא will
redeemיִפְדֶּ֣ה
Israelאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל from
allמִ֝כֹּ֗ל of its
transgressionsעֲוֺנֹתָיו׃

conductorלַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ a
psalmמִזְמ֥וֹר of
David.לְדָוִד׃ Let the L rd
answer youיַעַנְךָ֣ יְ֭הֹוָה on
a dayבְּי֣וֹם of
duress;צָרָ֑ה Let the name of the
G-d of Jacob defend you.יְ֝שַׂגֶּבְךָ֗ שֵׁ֤ם ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֬י יַעֲקֹב׃ Let Him send
your helpיִשְׁלַח־עֶזְרְךָ֥ from His
sanctuaryמִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ and let Him uphold
you from Zion.וּ֝מִצִּיּ֗וֹן יִסְעָדֶךָּ׃ Let Him
rememberיִזְכֹּ֥ר all of your
meal-offeringsכׇּל־מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ and may your
burnt-offeringsוְעוֹלָתְךָ֖ be ever
acceptable.יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה סֶלָה׃ May He
grant youיִתֶּן־לְךָ֥ the desires
of your heartכִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ and may
He fulfillוְכׇל־עֲצָתְךָ֥ all of your
counsel.יְמַלֵּא׃ We shall
singנְרַנְּנָ֤ה ׀ [praise to the L
rd] at your salvationבִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ and in the name
of the L rdוּבְשֵׁם־אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ shall we gather
to the bannerנִדְגֹּ֑ל The L rd
will fulfillיְמַלֵּ֥א יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה all of your
desires.כׇל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶיךָ׃
Now,עַתָּ֤ה I
knowיָדַ֗עְתִּי
thatכִּ֤י the L rd
has helpedהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ ׀ יְהֹוָ֗ה his anointed
one.מְשִׁ֫יח֥וֹ He has
answered himיַ֭עֲנֵהוּ from the heavens
of His holinessמִשְּׁמֵ֣י קׇדְשׁ֑וֹ with the
strengthבִּ֝גְבֻר֗וֹת of the
salvationיֵ֣שַׁע of His
right hand.יְמִינוֹ׃
Theseאֵ֣לֶּה in
chariotsבָ֭רֶכֶב and
thoseוְאֵ֣לֶּה in
horsesבַסּוּסִ֑ים but
weוַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ ׀ shall invoke the name
of the L rd our G-d.בְּשֵׁם־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ נַזְכִּיר׃
Theyהֵ֭מָּה bow
downכָּרְע֣וּ and
fallוְנָפָ֑לוּ and
weוַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ rise
upקַּ֝֗מְנוּ and
triumph.וַנִּתְעוֹדָד׃ O L rd,
save!יְהֹוָ֥ה הוֹשִׁ֑יעָה O
King,הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ answer
usיַעֲנֵ֥נוּ on the day
we call!בְיוֹם־קׇרְאֵנוּ׃

[As for]
our brethrenאַחֵינוּ the entire
House of Israelכָּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל who [still]
remain in distressהַנְּתוּנִים בַּצָּרָה and
captivityוּבַשִּׁבְיָה whether
on seaהָעוֹמְדִים בֵּין בַּיָּם or on
landוּבֵין בַּיַּבָּשָׁה may God have
compassion on themהַמָּקוֹם יְרַחֵם עֲלֵיהֶם and bring them
from distressוְיוֹצִיאֵם מִצָּרָה to
reliefלִרְוָחָה from
darknessוּמֵאֲפֵלָה to
lightלְאוֹרָה from
servitudeוּמִשִּׁעְבּוּד to
redemptionלִגְאֻלָּה at this
momentהַשְׁתָּא
speedilyבַּעֲגָלָא very
soonוּבִזְמַן קָרִיב and let us
say Amein.וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן
